Pageful

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

Pageful does not collect, store off your device, transmit, or share any user data. All page capture and file saving happens locally within your browser. The extension has no servers, no analytics, no accounts, and no tracking of any kind.

What Pageful does

Pageful captures the web page in the tab you choose and saves it to your computer as a PDF or PNG. The capture is rendered entirely by your own browser and written directly to your Downloads folder. No copy of the page, the file, or any metadata is sent anywhere.

Data we collect

None. Pageful does not collect or transmit personal information, browsing history, page content, or usage analytics. There is no remote server to receive such data because Pageful has none.

Your settings

Your preferences — the save sub-folder and the "ask where to save each time" toggle — are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage mechanism. A local count of successful captures may be kept on your device solely to decide when (if ever) to show an in-product "leave a review" prompt. None of this is ever transmitted off your device.

Permissions

Pageful requests no broad host access and never runs in the background.

Third parties

Pageful does not sell or share data with third parties, does not use data for advertising or to determine creditworthiness, and does not load or execute any remotely hosted code. The only files it creates are the captures you choose to save, on your own device.
